Hi folks,
It's been such a long time...I do apologize for not being around and for the lack of posts. The last few months have been filled with endless decisions and actions to go with those decisions. As you know, I've been contemplating my course in life...for a long time I have felt that I was not on the right track. As a result, I've felt like I were only existing and not really living. At the start of this year I decided that I needed to make some changes. I am 30 years old and let's face it, I'm not getting any younger. :) Call me crazy...but I'd like to do some living for a change.
I've had several months to think and to put plans in place. I started back drawing...just because. :) I adore Art...have always enjoyed it, ever since I was a little girl. It fills me with peace and even I have to admit, I'm not all that bad at it. :)
I am also finally going to give my dream of being a photographer a chance. My very first Canon will be arriving in 7 days. Excitement!! :) I cannot wait. I've been practicing on my point and shoot and my cousin's Canon and I have to say...I am just loving it. Learning quite a bit on the Art of picture taking. I also have a few family shoots lined up already.
I feel like I am finally on the right road. I feel like this is where I am supposed to be. It's been a long time coming. I fought this for so long...and it's only left me miserable. Now, I won't let that happen again...I've realized that it's a waste of time to go against your heart.
This new journey that I am on has inspired me to create a new blog, one that I can use to document this new world that I am about to enter. It will be used to share my pictures, day to day happenings and to connect with friends around the world. tamijardine.com
