This meme is called a blog hop...so naturally, it's expected that you're gonna do some hopping. Visit some blogs, follow the ones that tickle your fancy and be sure to leave a comment. Putting in a little bit of work can go a long way. I have personally seen bloggers go from 0 followers to 1000 in a matter of months. Blog Hopping can work, my own blog is proof of it.
Each week, five new guest hosts will share the spotlight. They are fondly referred to as the 'Fab Five'. You are encouraged to visit and follow each of the guest hosts. They make this hop possible, they bring in new link ups every week, which keeps our hop fresh and exciting.

I didn't think I'd have to say this, but if you are interested in guest hosting, please follow me via GFC before asking. Also all guest hosts are required to post the blog hop button, rules and linky for the hop on the day that they are guest hosting. I will provide all the info.
(Update 26th November 2012: The hop must remain at the top of your page for at least 18 hours. We are here to support one another and to help one another grow. If your followers can't find the hop because it is buried beneath two and three posts, they cannot link up and the hop won't grow.)
